Q. How much do tickets cost?

A. The price of each raffle ticket is £1.

Q. Who can enter?

A. This raffle is only open to residents of mainland Great Britain (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands) and those who are aged 16 and over.

Q. How do I enter the raffle?

A. You can enter online via this website – simply select ‘ENTER NOW’ from the menu above.

Q. What are the odds of winning a prize in the BTO Raffle?

A. Based upon our projections the chance of winning a prize for a single ticket is approximately1 in 7,143.

Q. How will I know if I've won?

A. Winners will be contacted after the draw has taken place on 28 March 2022.

Q. How will the proceeds from the BTO Raffle be used?

A. All profits from the Spring Raffle go to British Trust for Ornithology. Details of the work of BTO can be found on the charity’s website www.bto.org. We expect that from the proceeds of all ticket sales of the Spring Raffle, 50% will be spent on expenses (including prizes) and a fantastic 50% will be available to fund our important work.

Q. Can you claim Gift Aid on my purchase?

A. Unfortunately no; lottery and raffle draws do not qualify for Gift Aid.

However, if you make a donation with your purchase, we can claim Gift Aid on this donation.

If you are eligible for Gift Aid then we can claim it on your behalf if you complete the Gift Aid declaration on the entry form. Please read the declaration regarding Gift Aid carefully to ensure you are eligible.

Q. How do I receive my tickets?

A. Confirmation of your ticket number(s) will be emailed to you no later than 24 hours after your entry has been made online.

Q. Can I request tickets by post rather than play online?

A. If you’d prefer to buy your tickets by post, please call our helpline on 0370 241 3495.

Q. Can I get a refund?

A. Raffle Tickets that have been purchased and entered into the draw for which they were intended are prohibited from being subsequently refunded.
